Cancer Patient Stories

Patient speaking with woman

After having my cancer surgery in Raleigh, I thought I'd have to go back and forth to the Triangle for treatment. So this is wonderful. It's just a few minutes from home. The doctors and everyone there treated me with A-1 care. I feel blessed. I would recommended this place to everyone.

Everyone here has gone out of their way for me. And it's such a beautiful place. Plus, it's named after Danny Talbott. I know Danny, and I'm really thankful they recognized him. There's not a better person they could have named if after. They're the best.

It was great to have my cancer treatments right here in Rocky Mount. And the staff - they are some of the most pleasant people. I remember when I had my first infusion, they made me feel so comfortable. Brooke, Ms. Pat and Krystin are just amazing.

I really liked Dr. Jacimore. She's a straight shooter and that's what I was looking for. The radiologists were super nice, too. And with 42 straight days of radiation, it was a big plus to be surrounded by good people. I was happy with the whole situation there.
