**Ruth Bowens** Ruth went to the Nash UNC Emergency Care Center when she was experiencing headaches, chest pain, and shortness of breath. She tells her story of surviving a heart attack with the excellent care she received in her hometown.
**Bradley Johnson** Bradley was having trouble doing normal activities. He went to the Nash UNC Emergency Room for care. Within 90 minutes of arriving at Nash UNC, Bradley’s heart care team placed a stent to avoid heart damage and saved his life.
**Tim Lane** Tim didn’t have typical symptoms, but he wasn’t feeling well over the weekend. His wife, who is a nurse, encouraged him to see his primary care doctor. His doctor diagnosed a blockage and heart attack. Tim rushed to the Nash UNC Emergency Room and a UNC cardiologist placed a stent within 30 minutes.
**Jeffery Morgan** Jeffery had an emergency balloon angioplasty at Nash UNC when other emergency methods didn’t work to revive him from a heart attack. A lot of positive changes have occurred in Jeffery’s life since his heart attack. Jeffery credits his “amazing team” at Nash for giving him a second chance to lead a different life.
**Patrick Silver** Patrick felt a sharp pain in his chest. His wife took him to Nash UNC and she knew he was in capable hands. After Patrick left the hospital, he got several follow-up calls to see how he was doing. Patrick credits the Nash UNC heart team with saving his life.
