Preparing for Hip or Knee Replacement
Before surgery, you’ll receive a guidebook from your orthopedic surgeon that outlines the surgery process and the stages of your recovery. You’ll also take a joint class where you’ll work with a joint replacement care team to prepare for surgery.
Attend our required one-hour education class to learn about what you need to do before, during, and after surgery. Bring your guidebook and support person. Your joint replacement care team will guide you through the process. Follow your team’s instructions to support your best outcome and a smooth recovery. We offer this class every Thursday morning.
