Women’s heart health is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of overall well-being. Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women, but many are unaware of the risks and early warning signs. Join us on February 7 for the Second Annual Women's Heart Fair to learn tips for preventive care, learning lifesaving skills like CPR, and adopting heart-healthy habits. Click here to learn more.

Cancer Transitions: Get Back to Wellness

A free, five-week wellness program designed to assist cancer survivors in making the transition from active treatment to post-treatment care. Experts guide patients through exercise routines, relaxation, stress management, nutrition plans, and long-term medical management options customized to fit their needs. Living with, and Beyond Cancer

Providing people affected by cancer the opportunity to network with others who share similar experiences. This general cancer support group offers open and confidential discussions and guest speakers on cancer-related topics. Meets monthly.

Fresh Start Tobacco Program

An American Cancer Society Tobacco Cessation program that lasts four weeks and is designed to help smokers quit the habit for good. Light refreshments are provided. New sessions available twice a year. For more information, please call 252-962-3473.

The Emily Ellis Brain Injury and Stroke Support Group

For stroke survivors and their families, this group meets monthly at the Bryant T. Aldridge Rehabilitation Center. For more information, please call 252-962-3711.

Pregnancy Classes

Start exploring prenatal classes by the time you are 24-weeks pregnant. Follow this timing to give yourself enough time to schedule and complete classes before your newborn arrives. If you have questions, call 252-962-8270.
