Wait Time is Down. Patient Ratings Are Up.
We’re working hard to improve your Emergency Department experience.
Improving the Overall Patient & Family Experience
That means that our patient satisfaction ratings are better than 97% of hospitals in the nation. Our patients are also much more likely to recommend our Emergency Department to a friend or family member, with a 61-point increase in that ranking over the last year.
Getting You in Front of a Provider Faster
The average time before patients see a doctor has dropped from 60 minutes to 22 minutes in the last year. This means you get the answers and care you need sooner. We’re continually looking for ways to make the department more efficient and hope to lower this average wait time even more in the future.
Striving to Keep You Comfortable and Informed
We have increased our focus on keeping patients and their family members comfortable and informed throughout their experience in the Emergency Department, and our patient experience surveys prove it’s making a difference. We have improved from the 7th percentile to the 98th percentile in one year in the categories of caring about our patients and keeping them informed. Ratings of our doctors have improved from the 12th to 99th percentile in one year, and nurses from 27th to 98th percentile. Again, this means our doctors and nurses are performing better in patient experience than those in 98% of other hospitals nationwide.
